Thekra, 18, dropped out for two years after her first year of secondary school. She recalls:
“I felt the road was completely closed… there was no one to support me or listen to my struggles.”
AGF rehabilitated her school, supported teachers, introduced emergency education and psychosocial programs, and persuaded her parents to let her return. With renewed confidence, she passed her exams and now inspires her peers. She says:
“I learned that failure is not the end, but the beginning of a new journey. Thanks to the support I received, I went back to school believing my future starts here.”
